Angela Jones

Chief Information Officer, RSL

Angela is an executive-level technologist, strategist, and board member, with a proven track record in digital business, technology delivery, transformation, contemporary operating models and ways of working.   Her 20+ years of experience spans commercial, government and NFP sectors.  Angela has held roles in business development, architecture, technical development, strategy, leadership, strategic consulting, relationship, contract and vendor management, and portfolio, program and product.  Angela has led many digital and business transformations and innovative change initiatives.

She is passionate about developing and realising strategy, digital enablement and unlocking the potential of her people, technology and business, to showcase how technology can drive transformation that exceeds expectations and be a key enabler for business success.

Prior to joining RSL Queensland,  Angela worked across varied industries such as Dam Safety, Biosecurity, Environment, Agriculture, Spatial and Wildlife Science, Tourism, Small Business and Commonwealth Games, and more recently diversified ASX-listed and regulated companies, such as Tabcorp and Tatts Group Lotteries, Wagering and Gaming Portfolios. 

Angela is a strong advocator for robust governance, authentic communication and is an active member of her community. She is currently a Board Director for Women In Technology, member of the Queensland Council of ICT Associations, and a Justice of the Peace.
